the fixins' for the best swingers party this side of New Orleans!
Mardi Gras is about the men having beads and the ladies knowing
how to get them. There is an art to collecting the best beads Mardi
Gras has to offer.
This is a chance for everyone to dress up in an exotic costume
to properly celebrate Mardi Gras. Dig out those colorful feathers,
sequins and beads. Lingerie and a mask works just as well - remember
to think purple, green and gold. Everyone will receive beads as
they come through the door which can be used later <wink>.
Mardi Gras is a time of decadent revelry...
A time for gaudy, sparkling costumes; a time for masked kings and
queens; balls, parades, floats, bands, beads, trinkets, and doubloons.
It's a decadent time of partying, of drinking too much and eating
too much. It is a time in which being wild is not only the norm;
it is expected. It's a time to get caught up in the magic!
Mardi Gras is no longer limited to the New Orleans and Gulf Coast
States that previously held a monopoly on it. Mardi Gras has now
come to North West Ohio and South East Michigan.
A French phrase is the statement that exemplifies what Mardi Gras
is all about. Laissez
le bon temps rouler! Which simply means Let the good times
roll! Come on out and let the good times roll, join Krewe NBN on
February 23, 2008 for the fun and decadence that is Mardi Gras! |

| Mardi gras is about extremes!
Even in attire; from gaudy, sparkling costumes to that halloween
costume that just don't look scary enough. That is Mardi Gras.
The dress for this event is casual. However, we ask that people
avoid wearing sweats, torn/tattered jeans or T-shirts, and no
ball caps. Lingerie/risque clothing is fine, but we do have
to be covered in the hotel ballrooms and common areas -- so
bring something like a robe or coat for walking to the bathroom.

| As a reminder NO
CAMERAS ARE PERMITTED WITHOUT CONSENT OF NBN MODERATORS.
This is an issue of privacy. Again, no one likes their
privacy violated. Especially as Americans, we hold our
privacy as sacred. With this in mind we at NBN felt it
best to restrict the use of cameras during our larger
events. **ONLY** those
who have been given express permission by an NBN moderator
to utilize a camera, at the larger events, are the **ONLY**
individuals allowed to do so. Any person bringing a camera
into an NBN party will be asked to remove the camera from
the party location. If a person refuses, this person will
be asked to leave. If a person is caught using a camera
they will be required to delete/ destroy all pictures
taken and then to remove the camera from the party premises.
Obviously, Camera capable Cell-phones are a unique situation.
If you have a cam-cell phone it would best to either not
bring it into the party premises or to simply use it for
calls. One final thing to remember all authorized NBN
picture takers will always be designated by a badge showing
them as an "NBN Official Photographer," "NBN
Staff," or "NBN Owner." These persons will
always **ASK** to take pictures,
you have a right to say no. And we never post pics of
those who have asked us not to. Any
person caught pretending to be or impersonating an Official
NBN Photographer, will be immediately removed from party
premises, no refund, and will be banned from all future
NBN Events and NBN Yahoo Group! |
